Analisis model pembelajaran problem based learning di sekolah dasar: Analisis bibliometrik

The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is a learning approach that focuses on real-world problem solving and encourages active student engagement. This study aims to map research trends on the implementation of PBL in elementary schools using bibliometric methods. The analysis was conducted on 15 scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025. Data were collected using the Publish or Perish application and exported in .ris and .csv formats, then analyzed with VOSviewer to visualize topic interrelations through network maps, density maps, and overlays. The results show a significant increase in publications in 2023 and 2024. Four main clusters were identified: the PBL model and students, learning cycles, implementation and issues, and general learning strategies. Terms such as “problem,” “PBL,” and “student” appeared as central nodes within the topic network. This study reveals that PBL has great potential to enhance critical thinking, learning motivation, and collaborative skills among elementary students. However, challenges remain in terms of teacher readiness and limited learning resources. This study contributes to a better understanding of PBL research trends and serves as a reference for designing innovative learning strategies at the elementary education level.
