Pembiasaan Jum’at religi dalam pembentukan karakter religius siswa di SMAN 1 Gambiran Banyuwangi

This community service program aims to foster students’ religious character through the Jum’at Religi program at SMAN 1 Gambiran Banyuwangi. The method used was a participatory approach consisting of socialization, training, implementation, mentoring, and evaluation stages. The results indicate that students developed habits of practicing Islamic rituals such as shalat dhuha, Qur’an recitation, and regular shalawat chanting. Moreover, students showed improvements in discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence, particularly when delivering short sermons (kultum). Teachers played a role as both mentors and role models, while the school provided support in creating a religious culture. Therefore, the habituation of Jum’at Religi proved effective in shaping students’ religious character, in line with the goals of the Strengthening Character Education (PPK) program
