Abstract

This service is carried out as an effort to improve educator strategies in order to understand the stages of activities that can be implemented in learning, the introduction of local culture in Kedungasri village is a characteristic and identity for institutions to implement in learning in schools, in accordance with the curriculum currently set, namely the independent curriculum which has one of the themes I love Indonesia, early childhood needs to be introduced to local culture with the aim of being able to have a sense of love for the homeland, in addition parents and teachers also need to have the right strategy in introducing culture to children according to the stages of children's learning. The purpose of this service is to facilitate teacher educators and parents to introduce local culture in the school environment and children's daily lives. This service method uses Service Learning in which teacher educators and parents are involved in this activity in order to find out the stages of children's learning and strategies for introducing local culture in learning. The activity material is the need for teacher educators and parents to understand the stages of learning for children, as well as looking for cultural history in Kedungasri village that will be implemented in children's learning activities.
